ChangCode is a small personal website run by Chang. It is a place to publish practical guides about building and running websites, along with notes from things I am learning and trying out.

• Step-by-step guides. Short tutorials on topics such as hosting a site, managing a domain name and choosing simple tools.
• Plain explanations. Articles that explain why something works, not only which button to press.
• Notes and experiments. Write-ups of side projects and what went right or wrong.

How the articles are written

Each article is based on tasks I have actually carried out, such as publishing this site, connecting its domain and checking what it costs to run. I try to state limits and caveats clearly, and I tell readers to confirm prices and rules with the official source, because those details change over time. If you spot a mistake, please let me know so I can correct it.

How the site is run

This site is a set of plain HTML pages hosted on Cloudflare. It does not use accounts, comments or a database. The site may display advertising from Google AdSense to help cover the cost of the domain name. Ads are separate from the articles, and they do not influence what I write.
